Conceptions of mental language in the medieval philosophy

The paper shows how the ideas of mental representation of words and sentences, on one hand, and "words of the heart" - on the other, were the objects of lively debates in the XIII-XIV СЃenturies, in which the stakes were nothing less than the universality of thought and its relation to language.

What is allowed to Jupiter from the logic point of view?

The paper considers the problem of limits of the legal contexts' formalization. The author proves that the modern logic is a necessary, an adequate but legally an insufficient tool in constructing and analysing of the legal contexts.
